September 28, 1999 THE FOURTH SUFFOLK COUNTY POLICE VISIT at My Parents Home

The evening of September 28, 1999 my mother, Veronica, and stepfather, Edward Snyder were out visiting,
while I and my son, Kelvin stayed at my parents’ home in Dix Hills, NY, alone, where we now live. Suffolk
County police officers came over 250 feet from the street to my parents home ringing the doorbell. I
refused to answer the front doorbell and the knocking at the door, knowing full well that the Suffolk County
Fugitive Detectives involved the uniformed police officers WITHOUT SECURING ANY COURT WARRANTS OR
SUBPOENAS.

At 10:10 p.m. Veronica and Edward Snyder returned home to 40E. Half Hollow Road only to find an
unmarked vehicle parked in front and to see a figure going through their curbside paper trash. When
Edward Snyder asked this person what he was doing in their trash, this person put a flashlight in Ed and
Veronica Snyder’s face, showing badge I.D. hanging from a string around his neck. This detective was
Robert Brown, (Executive Officer of the Suffolk County NY Fugitive Section). He looked through their van
with his flashlight and announced that they were looking for Joseph Waiksnis. Veronica Snyder advised that
they couldn’t take her son, Joseph away to Pennsylvania, because he is full time caregiver to his autistic
son. Where upon, this Executive Officer, Robert Brown, announced to Veronica Snyder… “I DON’T CARE IF
YOU HAVE ONE OR FIFTEEN GRANDCHILDREN, AND THEY ARE ALL AUTISTIC, WE ARE GOING TO GET YOUR
SON”.

All of a sudden a Suffolk County Police vehicle bumped the rear of my parent’s van so Edward and
Veronica Snyder COULD NOT ESCAPE AND GET AWAY.

Then several uniformed police officers came from the house located over 250 feet to the street to
tell the Fugitive Detectives that THEY SPOTTED MOVEMENT WITHIN MY PARENT’S HOME.

The detectives then allowed Veronica and Edward Snyder to proceed down THEIR DRIVEWAY TO
THEIR HOME. When Veronica and Ed Snyder got out of their van, they saw a police officer looking through
their front door windows where upon this officer yelled down to the detectives “ I detect movement
inside”. There were police in their backyard that climbed up the deck to look into their glass sliding
backdoor. Veronica Snyder yelled out to one officer, “DO YOU WANT TO SHOOT MY SON IN THE BACK”.

ENRAGED AND DISGUSTED BY THE TRESPASSING AND HARASSMENT, VERONICA SNYDER, THEN
YELLED OUT LOUDLY “WHY DO YOU KEEP COMING HERE TIME AFTER TIME?” “WHY ARE YOU PEOPLE
CONTINUALLY TRESPASSING ON PRIVATE PROPERTY? WHERE ARE THE WARRANTS AND WHAT ARE THE
CHARGES?” WITH THESE QUESTIONS, EXECUTIVE OFFICER ROBERT BROWN QUICKLY THREATENED VERONI
CA SNYDER WITH ARREST FOR ASKING THESE QUESTIONS.   VERONICA SNYDER VERY LOUDLY YELLED OUT
TO HIM IN DISGUST, “GO AHEAD AND ARREST ME”; WHERE UPON, DETECTIVE BILL GINTZ, TO SMOOTH
THINGS OVER, STATED TO VERONICA AND EDWARD SNYDER THAT THEY WERE THERE “BECAUSE THE TIOGA
COUNTY DISTRICT ATTORNEY KEEPS BUGGING AND BUGGING US TO PICK UP YOUR SON”; THIS WAS THE
ONLY ANSWER GIVEN FOR THEIR MANY TRESPASSES ONTO PRIVATE PROPERTY. THEN BEFORE LEAVING,
THEY TOLD EDWARD SNYDER AND VERONICA SNYDER TO ADVISE JOSEPH THAT HE SHOULD “NOT LEAVE THE
PROPERTY”, BECAUSE THEY WOULD BE BACK ON FRIDAY (OCTOBER 1, 1999) WHICH DID NOT HAPPEN.
