FEBRUARY 4, 2000… LOOKING FOR GOOD CRIMINAL ATTORNEY
My stepfather, Ed Snyder, called his attorney, Randolph Medalie, 24 E. Main Street in Bayshore, NY,
explaining situation and the need for criminal attorney. His recommendation was Attorney David Besso, 120
Fourth Avenue in Bayshore, and Attorney Medalie stated that we should mention his name, for “foot in the
door”.

FEBRUARY 5, 2000…THE FIRST ATTEMPT TO SECURE NY ATTORNEY
My mother, Veronica Snyder, telephoned the office of Attorney David Besso explaining situation. She met
with his assistant… gave story and MUCH DOCUMENTATION. The assistant stated that she would turn such
over to Attorney Besso.

FEBRUARY 8, 2000 … THE LETDOWN AND POLITICS
This date, the female assistant to Attorney David Besso telephoned leaving message on telephone
recording machine for my mother, Veronica Snyder. The message was that Mr. Besso contacted District
Attorney BLAKEY. She apologetically stated that Mr. Besso was declining to take the case, because "D. A.
BLAKEY TOLD MR. BESSO THAT NO MATTER WHAT, YOUR SON (JOSEPH WAIKSNIS) IS GOING BACK TO
PENNSYLVANIA".

IT WAS ALREADY ESTABLISHED AND WRITTEN IN SUFFOLK COUNTY DISTRICT ATTORNEY CATTERSON’S
OFFICE THAT, “no matter what Joseph Waiksnis was going back to Pennsylvania”… meaning one way or
another, LEGALLY OR ILLEGALLY.
AND WITHOUT NEW YORK FOLLOWING ANY FEDERAL MANDATED INTERSTATE EXTRADITION GUIDELINES.
